Research Jointly – Develop – Validate Results

We thank our partners for collaborating and sharing their excellent work in various research projects, and for sharing thoughts about improvements and new features when using our software, both in daily business and research.

IMEC

“Imec is the world-leading R&D and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies. As a trusted partner for companies, startups and academia imec brings together brilliant minds from all over the world in a creative and stimulating environment…”

GTS entered a Joint Development Program (JDP) with IMEC in 2017. We highly appreciate this collaboration, especially in the field of reliability and variability of advanced CMOS logic and memory technologies. This area is one of our key R&D topics, and the joint research in this cooperation provides a big boost for our work and our customers. Watching our products being used by even more leading researchers confirms their value and dependablility. The valuable feedback we get inspires us when generating new ideas for further development.

Vienna University of Technology

GTS is proud of its cooperation with the Institute for Microelectronics at Vienna University of Technology, where a long history of thorough scientific research in semiconductor device technologies has facilitated gathering knowledge and evolving theory, as well as developing outstanding simulation techniques.

GTS cooperates closely with the institute’s Device Simulation Group, working on development and continuous enhancement of Minimos-NT for classical device simulation and circuit simulation, and VSP (Vienna Schrödinger-Poisson Solver) for quantum-mechanical device simulation.
