Global TCAD Solutions Joins Semiconductors Korea 2026 Mission
We are delighted to announce that Florian Ellinger and Gwangjin Bak (박광진) will be representing Global TCAD Solutions at the Semiconductors Korea 2026 business mission, which is scheduled to take place in Seoul from February 9-13, 2026.
Gwangjin and Florian will be accessible for technical discussions regarding our TCAD platform throughout the mission as part of this EU initiative. There will be a particular emphasis on sustainable semiconductor manufacturing technologies, advanced device simulation, process emulation capabilities, and comprehensive DTCO workflows from the process to the circuit level. They look forward to engaging with potential partners across Korea’s semiconductor value chain, including equipment manufacturers, materials suppliers, R&D institutions, and technology investors.
Korea’s semiconductor market presents compelling opportunities for European technology providers. As the world’s second-largest semiconductor producer with a 13.2% share of the global market, Korea has demonstrated remarkable momentum with eight consecutive months of export growth and government support totaling €18.6 billion for industry development. The country’s focus on national strategic technologies, including semiconductors, AI, and advanced mobility, aligns closely with GTS’s expertise in physics-based device simulation.
