Mixed Mode Part I

In this example, we will set up a mixed-mode simulation.

In this mode the transfer characteristics of a distributed transistor and the output voltage of a single transistor inverter will be simulated. Afterwards the circuit will be extended with another distributed transistor to simulate the output voltage of a CMOS inverter. Finally one of the distributed transistors will be replaced by a Spice MOS Level 3 model to investigate the output voltage again.

It is assumed that you are already familiar with the main concepts of GTS Framework and the idea of projects and ToolFolders, as explained in the Getting
Started
tutorial.

Warning: The mixed-mode simulation model might not be included in your license. Please contact your distributor or Global TCAD Solutions directly for more information.
